GOD THE CREATOR

God’s Creation of Man Kind – Lesson 18 2024

The first chapter of Genesis provides for us the chronological order in which God created the Heavens, the Earth and all Life Forms. On the sixth day of creation God created the first Man. God created Adam.

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1: 26-28 (KJV)

In Chapter 2 God provides some details about His Creation of life on earth. God describes how He formed man.

God Formed the First Man, Adam, From the Dust of the Ground
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7 KJV
What is the scientific proof that man’s body came from the dust of the ground, as the Bible says? The human body is made up of materials and minerals found on the surface of the ground, and not from the core of the earth.
Oxygen being the most abundant element on the earth’s crust, on the ground, makes up 65 percent of the human body. Carbon, also abundant on the topsoil of the ground is 18 percent and hydrogen 10 percent. The 59 elements found in the human body are ALL found on the earth’s crust.
Amazing; what God’s Word tells us perfectly matches the scientific composition of a human body.
Also, in chapter 2 of Genesis, God tells us how woman (Eve) was made. She was not formed from the dust of the ground. She was made from a bone from Adam.
21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. Genesis 2: 21-25 (KJV)
God made Eve out of a bone from Adam’s side and at marriage they became as one flesh again. “Become one flesh,” I invite you to ponder on this.
Made in the image of God will be the subject of next week’s lesson.
