6) Day 1 – Let There Be Light – Lesson 6 2024
Genesis 1:3-5 KJV 3 And God said, (He spoke the Word) Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
The ‘light’ did not come from the sun. The sun was not created until the 4th day of the Creation week. God, Himself, was the energy source of the light. Light came from God.
THE WORD spoken by God was and is the light of all life. THE WORD was the light (energy) source for God’s creation of the earth and the heaven. THE WORD came to earth in the flesh as JESUS CHRIST to be the light of life to all mankind.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
14 The Word (Jesus) became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 8: 12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
THE WORD – JESUS CHRIST is the light of our eternal dwelling place!
Revelation 21: 23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine ]in it, for the glory of God. The Lamb is its light.
Revelation 22: 4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. 5 There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
THE WORD – JESUS CHRIST – THE LIGHT
Revelation 22:13 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”
Everything was created through the Word, Jesus Christ.
In Jesus is life. He provides light to our hearts and our lives.
When the light of Jesus lives in you, your light shines in the darkness of this world.
No one can put out this light.
Jesus gave me an assignment to do.
The Holy Spirit spoke these words within me 23 years ago as part of an assignment:
The Holy Spirit said “Focus on the young, for these little ones will become lights in the darkness.”
I invite you to become a light in the darkness.
LOVE JESUS WITH ALL YOUR HEART
Allow Him to put His light into your heart and into your life.
Let the light of Jesus shine in you. Become lights to this dark world.
Amen!
