In the Days of Noah – God Grieved in His Heart – Lesson 38 2024
But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Matthew 24:37
What were the days of Noah like that led to God’s Judgment being poured out on His creation. It is described in detail for us in Genesis 6.
Genesis 6: 5-6 (KJV) 5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
Compare now this to the wickedness found among mankind today, in these the last of days leading to the return of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 1 Timothy 3: 1-5
America, and the world, is ripe for God’s destruction of evil, for His wrath and judgment to be poured out.
Noah’s Day
Genesis 6: 7–8 KJV 7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
Grace is the unmerited, unearned love and favor of God. Grace is a gift from God.
Genesis 6:9-11 KJV 9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. James 4:4 (NKJV)
8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Galatians 6:8 (NKJV)
