31) Moving Souls Out Of Living In Limbo – Post 31 2025

When I took on rental space for the ministry I had established in 2003, I earnestly sought strong confirmation that what I was undertaking was according to and following God’s plan. I relayed this need to fellow volunteers.

That very evening, Thursday, October 21, 2004, the Holy Spirit provided the confirmation of confirmations concerning the purpose of my calling. He provided interpretation for the dream I had in 1983.

“The dream begins in what appears to be an art museum. I am looking at oil paintings of everyday life. The scene shifts and it is as if I go through doors and begin walking carefully across a floor filled with souls. I somehow know they are souls. I am trying hard not to step on any of them. All I actually see is what looks like individual bubbles rising up from and going back down into the floor. The floor extends outward a great distance. There seems to be hundreds perhaps thousands of souls in this floor. When I awakened, I felt puzzled. I HAD NOT knowingly experienced a dream from God before.”

On that Thursday evening, the Holy Spirit drew my attention to this dream I had in 1983 and as I reflected on it, the Holy Spirit spoke these words:

“THEY ARE SOULS IN LIMBO”

As these words were spoken, I knew Jesus had confirmed the very goal of this ministry.

“To move souls out of limbo and into a ‘right’ (a saving) relationship with Jesus.”

What the Holy Spirit made me see that evening was that I was once one of these souls who had been living my life in a state of being in limbo. Confused as to whether-or-not I was saved. I was existing in a state of being in limbo. Many people who think or just hope they are saved are living their lives in limbo. God wants this to change. He is raising-up believers to plant and to water good seeds. The task assigned to all Christians. It is the Holy Spirit who brings growth, the needed spiritual growth.

I went through rather dramatic experiences leading up to and after my being born-again in Jesus Christ. I wondered why my experiences were so clear in the process of how God works to draw people to Himself and reconcile people to Him. I believe the reason is to be able to testify to these experiences, with the hope of helping others. I am going to summarize the Steps I walked through to enter into a “Right” (Righteous) Relationship with God and to grow in my walk with Jesus Christ.

Steps Experienced:
1) God calls out your name. He calls you to Him.

2) The Holy Spirit draws you. He awakens in you the need for Jesus Christ and enables you to repent of your sin toward God.

3) You recognize your need for Jesus and desire to turn away from “self” (your own self-righteousness, self-dependency), you seek God’s forgiveness, repent of your sin toward God, and surrender your life to Jesus Christ.

4) Your spirit becomes quickened (regenerated-made alive). You have become reconciled to God. You have become a new creature in Christ.

5) The Holy Spirit indwells you. Your body becomes a temple where the Holy Spirit now dwells. Your spirit becomes united with God.

6) Drastic changes begin to take place to your life; sin becomes something ugly to you, God sanctifies you (you become holy and set apart in God’s sight) and through God’s Word, your mind over time becomes renewed.

The Holy Spirit continually works in your life to make you more and more like Jesus. And more!
